BEYZA DEMİRBAŞ:
Beyza Demirbaş is a senior law student at MEF University, where she is also pursuing a minor in business administration. During high school, she participated in various Model United Nations simulations. Throughout her university years, Beyza has played an effective role in various student association boards such as MEF International Law Students Association, StartupMEF Entrepreneurship and Innovation Club and MEF Theatre Club, while participating in curricular activities such as the Turkish Moot Court called Mekteb-i Adliye Moot Court Competition and the trainings organized by law firms and international organizations. In the summer of her third year, she participated in the Work and Travel Programme and had the opportunity to improve her language skills. She has gained valuable work experience in the fields of trademark and media law, maritime law, banking, finance and capital markets law and corporate law. Beyza speaks English at an advanced level and has a basic knowledge of French, which she is continuing to study.
METHİYE ZUHAL ÇAVĞA:
Methiye Zuhal ÇAVĞA is a senior student at MEF University, continuing her education at the Faculty of Law. During her studies, she completed a long-term internship in a law firm specializing in private law and is currently interning in the real estate department of another law firm. She has a keen interest in disciplines such as human rights, refugee law and migration studies, and is actively involved in various platforms related to these fields. Particularly in Migration Studies, her participation in internship programmes and the articles she has written reflect her efforts to develop herself and prepare for the academic journey she wishes to pursue after graduation. She is fluent in English and has a beginner level of French and is continuing her studies in these languages.
DORUK KAP:
Doruk Kap graduated from Prof. Dr. Mümtaz Turhan Social Sciences High School in 2020 and enrolled in the Faculty of Law at MEF University with a full scholarship in the same year. During his high school years, Doruk participated in musical and theatrical activities, and after graduating, he served as a judge in his high school's mock court. During his university years, he started working as an intern in a law firm. Doruk is interested in IT law and sports law. In addition to his knowledge of English, he has started to study Russian and is continuing his education.
ÖZGENUR KARAKUZ:
Özgenur Karakuz graduated from Gazi Anadolu High School and started her legal education at MEF University Faculty of Law. To enrich her legal knowledge, she is also pursuing a minor in Business Administration. Throughout her education, she has completed internships where she has acquired skills such as case tracking, petition writing and legal research, allowing her to put her theoretical knowledge into practice. She is fluent in English and has a basic knowledge of German.
DİLARA MUT:
Dilara Mut graduated from Teğmen Ali Rıza Akıncı High School in 2020 and started her education at MEF University Faculty of Law in 2021. She worked at İMDAT Association between 2022-2023, and during this time she participated in multidisciplinary studies in the Stalking Commission; she took an active role in the projects "Turkey Violence Report Card - Media Analysis" and "Earthquake Victims Handbook with a Rights-Based Approach" and also made poster presentations in the congresses organized by the Association. In 2023, she participated in the Jean Monnet Summer School program organized by MEF University in cooperation with Erasmus and had the opportunity to receive a comprehensive education on the legal structure, institutions and functioning of the European Union. In February 2024, she completed her internship at a law firm specializing in labor law, and in July and August, she completed her internship as a Treasury Attorney at the Ministry of Treasury and Finance. Dilara Mut speaks English at an advanced level and is a beginner in French and German and is continuing her education in these languages.
MUSTAFA EMİN ÖZCAN:
Mustafa Emin Özcan graduated from Dr. Vasıf Topçu Anatolian High School in 2020 and started his major in Political Science and International Relations (POLSIR) at MEF University in 2021, and his double major in Law in 2022. Before starting high school, he attended a summer school at King's College London in 2016 to improve his language skills. Alongside his education, he was a founding board member of the MEF Movie Club in 2020 and further honed his creative skills by working as a founding creative director at Helsk Studio in 2021, leading various design projects. He gained practical experience through a voluntary internship at Lawducation in 2024 and joined Ali Yüksel & Hilmi Özalp Law Firm as a legal research intern in the same year. He has also received two Outstanding Delegate Awards at Model United Nations (MUN) conferences. He is fluent in English and has a basic knowledge of French.
