The purpose of the Simulation Clinic is to contribute to the development of students' professional knowledge, skills, and values by enabling them to participate in hypothetical court competitions and/or mediation simulations. Volunteer lawyers designated by the Istanbul Bar Association for hypothetical court competition activities in the context of the Simulation Clinic are matched with teams of students participating in the MEF University Simulation Clinic, and lawyers support students in the preparation of petitions and oral presentations. Similarly, in the mediation simulation activities within the framework of the Simulation Clinic, volunteer mediators directed by the Istanbul Bar Association provide support to students in simulating mediation activities. Students participating in these activities within the clinic structure carry out their work under the framework of the Legal Clinic course, which is an elective course with 2 ECTS credits.
