2023-2024 MEF UNIVERSITY TEAM
FEYZANUR ZÜLEYHA MEHMETOĞLU:
Feyzanur Züleyha graduated from Final Okulları Anatolian High School in 2019 and started her Law education at MEF University in 2020. She is also studying at Istanbul University, Department of Business Administration. She did a summer internship at a law firm to improve her practical skills. Mehmetoğlu, who also has business experience, has also taken part in various social responsibility projects and currently plays an active role in an animal rights association. Additionally, she speaks advanced English and beginner-level German.
MUZAFFER ATA GÜNER:
Ata Güner is a third-year law student at MEF University. He actively participates in extracurriculars, and holds leadership positions in student associations, serving as the Vice President for both MEF Young TEMA and MEF International Law Students Association. Ata has valuable internship experience, working on Trademark, Merger Control, Competition Law, and M&A. He has also achieved Network Level status with McKinsey & Forward program and played an integral role in organizing the 2023 AIPPI World Congress as a member of the organizing committee. Ata is a dedicated CrossFit athlete, having competed professionally and maintaining a rigorous training regimen. He is also highly skilled in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, having trained seriously for several years and achieving an advanced level. His passion for sports began in childhood with five years of swimming, and during primary school, he honed his skills in basketball. Ata is fluent in English and has a basic understanding of French and German, which he studied during his middle and high school years.
RUMEYSA URKUÇ:
After graduating from Erzurum Anatolian High School, Rumeysa Urkuç started her education at MEF University Faculty of Law.. She participated in the "Arbitration Lawyer of the Future" competition, organized for the seventh time by Young / ISTAC in 2022-2023. Urkuç, who carries out voluntary work on the platform related to personal data and data protection and has short articles in the field of data protection, was accepted and presented abstract titled "Implementation of the Statute of Limitations in Criminal Laws to Torts‑ TCO/72" at the symposium organized for undergraduate students at Galatasaray University. Urkuç, who is a 4th grade student, speaks fluent English and beginner level Italian.
SİNEM KÖSEOĞLU:
Sinem Köseoğlu completed her high school education at Özel İstek Atanur Oğuz Anatolian High School. During high school, she had the opportunity to improve her foreign language by participating in various Model United Nations Simulations in different schools. She continues her education as a second-year student at MEF University Faculty of Law. In 2023, she started to take part in the MEF Awareness club as a board member. She can speak English at an advanced level; Korean and German at beginner level. She is continuing her Korean education.
ŞEVVAL KALINCA:
Şevval Kalınca is a senior student at MEF University Faculty of Law. She had been actively working in the Yetkin Gençler (Competent Youth) Education Program since the first year of university. She combined her interest in entrepreneurship and technology with law and completed internships in this field. She has conducted research on personal data and the blockchain system, especially in the academies and trainings she attended in this field. She studied at the University of Lisbon within the scope of the Erasmus exchange program. She had the opportunity to examine European Union Law closely. Lastly, Kalınca worked as a Treasury Lawyer Intern within the Ministry of Treasury and Finance and speaks English fluently.
YAĞIZ EFE VULAŞ:
Yağız Efe Vulaş graduated from Özel Çekmeköy Doğa Anadolu Lisesi in 2021 and started his studies at MEF University Law Faculty on a full scholarship in the same year. During his high school years, he participated in various projects, including 17th d'MUN. Currently, he is a third-year student continuing his education. Vulaş is proficient in English at an advanced level and has basic knowledge of French, and he continues his French education:
