Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that all administrative units of the university work efficiently, regularly and harmoniously,

  • Carrying out all bureaucratic and administrative processes of the university,

  • Organizing University Executive Boards Meetings, Senate Meetings and meetings with administrative units; keeping, submitting for signature and archiving meeting minutes,

  • Receiving the agenda items for the Executive Boards meetings from the relevant departments and preparing the agenda; then forwarding it to the Executive Assistant,

  • Follow-up of internal and external correspondence,

  • Making announcements within the scope of the General Secretariat,

  • Carrying out the annual audit process of the Council of Higher Education in coordination with the relevant units, preparing the report to be submitted and submitting it to the Council of Higher Education,

  • Providing all necessary logistical support and coordination during the Higher Education Council audit process,

  • Coordinating and following up the process of preparing the interim report according to the results of the audit report from the Council of Higher Education,

  • Submitting the department quota lists and fees for the approval of the Rectorate, then the Senate and the Board of Trustees; submitting the approved lists to the Council of Higher Education and following up,

  • Monitoring the functioning of the commissions within MEF University and the working time of their members,

  • Publishing academician announcements in line with the requests received from the Faculty and/or Institute and following up in coordination with the Human Resources Unit,

  • Establishment of sufficient staff to fulfill administrative duties in order for the university to achieve its goals and objectives,

  • Fulfillment of other duties assigned by the University Executive Boards, the Senate and the Rector within the framework of the Law, Statute and Regulations.
