Information Regarding the Internships

All computer engineering students must work as an intern in order to understand the professional work environments, application of the knowledge gained in school to practice and gain access to such environments. A total of 8-week long internship shall be equally partitioned; the first 4-week period is expected to be completed at the end of the sophomore (2nd) year, the second 4-week period is expected to be completed at the end of the junior (3rd) year.

All students must follow the following procedure while preparing for and conducting the internship: 

1. Finding the institution (Students can obtain the documents needed regarding the indication of Social Security Institution (SSI) operations will be done by the university, from the faculty secretaria.)

2. Approval of the institution by departmental internship commitee (Using the following google docs, you can get Internship Application Form filled automatically)

3. Approval of the intended institution for internship. 

4. Signed application form needs to be uploaded to the system whose links are shared below (5 days prior to the start date of the internship at the latest)

5. Completion of SSI processes (Occupational Health and Safety Law)

In addition, our students are responsible of carefully filling out the following forms in light of above instructional documents.
