Application Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Law (Graduation from a law school is required to participate in the programs).
A score of at least 55 from the Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Entrance Examination (ALES), at least 149 from the GRE (Graduate Record Examination) or at least 450 from the GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test). The validity period for KPDS, ÜDS, YDS, e-YDS, YÖKDİL is 5 (five) years from the date of the exam, TOEFL validity period is 2 (two) years from the date of the exam.
For undergraduate diplomas obtained from abroad, the appropriate opinion of the higher education institution where the diploma is obtained and the approval of YÖK is sought for the recognition of the education and degree received.
ALES or equivalent exam is not required for foreign students.
To have obtained at least the score or certificate specified below from one of the following exams measuring foreign language level (Candidates who graduated from programs of a higher education institution whose language of instruction is 100% English or from higher education institutions whose language of instruction is English in countries whose official language is English are exempt from the English proficiency requirement):
- For English; YDS/ÜDS/KPDS/YÖKDİL 55 or TOEFL IBT 66 or -MEF Graduate English Proficiency Exam 50. Exam information is shared with the applicants.
- For German; YDS/ÜDS/KPDS/YÖKDİL 55 or TestDaF or Goethe-Zertifikat B2 (80-89) or Deutsches Sprachdiplom Stufe (DSD) II B2 or TELC Deutsch B2.
- For French; YDS/ÜDS/KPDS/YÖKDİL 55 or DELF B2.
- For Spanish; Diploma de Espanol Nivel B2.
- For Italian; CELI 3.
- IELTS, TOEFL Home Edition are not accepted.
Personal Interview:
The candidate student may be invited to an in-person or by phone interview after the online application has been submitted and evaluated.
