The 10th day of each month is the last day for applications. The estimated evaluation period is between 1 and 2 months following the last day of applications.
Before applying to the Ethics Committee, applicants must ensure that their applications meet the following criteria: Please,
1. Application documents are accepted only as electronic copies. Electronic copies of all materials planned to be used in the study should be sent to the Ethics Committee Secretary İpek Yarar and the Ethics Committee via e-mail. yayi@mef.edu.tr – ethics@mef.edu.tr
2. Application documents must be sent in .pdf format. Documents sent in Word will not be accepted for application.
3. The research proposal must be prepared in APA (American Psychological Association) format.
4. References to all data collection tools to be used in the study should be added to the application documents.
5. If the researcher will translate the tools he/she will use himself, the translation and back-translation of the tool must also be submitted to the committee.
6. Participants should be informed in the consent form that the data collected will be stored for at least five years after the study is published. At the end of the study, all participants should be informed that they can request deletion of their data at any time.
Course Credits:
In cases where extra credit will be given to voluntary participants in the research project, students should be given the option to receive credit. The time required for the options presented should be at least equivalent to the time spent participating in the research.
Ethics Committee Application Language:
Applications must be prepared in English. If the participant's native language is Turkish, consent forms can be prepared in Turkish.
Researchers can submit their applications in Turkish for research proposals prepared in Turkish for TÜBİTAK and other grant programs.
Faculty of Law students and faculty members and graduate students studying in Turkish programs can submit their applications in Turkish.
