Mission

The mission of the Department of Civil Engineering both in research and teaching is to provide technical expertise by developing engineering solutions for the need of reliable, resilient, and sustainable built environment for a changing world.

The educational mission focuses on preparing our students as future civil engineering leaders who will serve the nation and the world, with the skills to integrate new technologies to transform the design and construction to enhance the standards of living whether in academia, engineering profession, or as entrepreneurs It is aimed that the graduates have social, professional, and ethical responsibility awareness in order to produce solutions for the benefit of society.  

Research in the Civil Engineering Department advances to provide and develop tools and techniques for solving important new problems.
