Graduate Program in Private Law with Thesis provides academic discipline and specialisation in law. Within the scope of the programme; the essence and development of the rules of law, the problems related to private law emerging in today's globalised world are examined. In terms of all these concepts and problems, a multi-faceted perspective that enables research, interpretation and analysis is gained; expert lawyers in the field of study who have these features are trained.
As a result of the studies to be carried out within the scope of the programme, students are provided with up-to-date information on the field at national and international level, scientific research methods are taught, and students are provided with the competence to solve the problems related to private law through these knowledge and methods.
The priority of the programme is to ensure that our students not only learn the rules of law in force in areas such as Contract Law, Collateral Law, Construction Law, Zoning Law, Consumer Law, Liability Law, International Commercial Law, Private International Law, Corporate Law, Insurance Law, Transport Law, International Law of Obligations, Mediation, but also to follow the developments in these fields and to develop the ability to apply their knowledge in national and international fields. It is aimed to train lawyers who will create the law of the future, who are versatile and researcher, who have a strong sense of justice and social responsibility, and who are experts in their field. The programme also aims to provide students who have not completed their undergraduate education in the field of law with technical and academic knowledge in the field and to gain a broad perspective in the practice of their profession.
In this context, the thesis work foreseen to be written for the completion of the Private Law Master's Programme with Thesis will be in the form of a study showing the ability to conduct scientific research in the field of private law and to analyse and interpret the information obtained as a result of these researches.
