Instructional Objectives

MEF University Guidance and Psychological Counseling Department aims to train quality psychological counselors who are progressive, creative, committed to universal and professional ethical values, constantly improving themselves, and have advanced research skills.

The language of instruction of the MEF University Guidance and Psychological Counseling Undergraduate Program is 100% English. Students, who have just entered the university and do not speak English, study in the English Language Preparatory Program. The average duration of PREP is one academic year. Except for the preparatory class, the program is four years. All kinds of education-learning activities in our department are based on the principle of "learning by doing and experiencing" within the scope of the University at School Model. Our students graduate by gaining the highest level of practical and theoretical skills related to their profession through internships and research projects.
