At MEF University, we offer a three-step orientation program for new faculty members before the start of each academic term. This program aims to help our new educators integrate into our innovative teaching culture.
To welcome our new instructors to MEF University, CELT (Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching) organizes a Welcome to MEF meeting. This meeting introduces our educational philosophy and processes to our instructors.
Details of the meeting will be sent to you via email.
This meeting may not be held during the summer term.
Updated annually before the start of the academic year, the Handbook for New Instructors provides answers to most of your questions regarding processes at MEF University.
This workshop, aligned with MEF University's innovative educational approach, aims to equip our new instructors with the skills to plan and implement their lessons according to
Flipped Learning standards. Combining both theoretical and practical knowledge, the workshop is designed as a two-stage program, offering participants the opportunity to experience this innovative educational model firsthand.

A lesson design based on Flipped Learning Standards is experienced via Blackboard and thoroughly discussed. Participants gain insight into how these standards can be integrated into lesson content with practical examples.
Application to Your Own Lessons:
Participants receive guidance on integrating Flipped Learning Standards into their own courses. This section covers topics such as adapting the standards to different course structures, organizing content, and planning pre-class and in-class activities. Participants are given the opportunity to work on individual adaptations based on their specific needs.
By the end of this workshop, participants will have gained the skills to design innovative and effective lessons.
Individual meetings are held with our new instructors. These meetings are personally planned and structured to address the specific needs of each instructor, providing tailored guidance.
