Mustafa Ersen received the B.S. degree in Computer Engineering and the M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from Istanbul Technical University in 2009 and 2012, respectively. In his master's thesis, he studied on the use of spatio-temporal data for learning interactions among objects in a game environment resembling Rube Goldberg machines. Behaviors of and interactions among the objects in the game are learned as finite state machines from spatial and temporal relations among these objects. The learned finite state machines are then shown to be applicable for making plans to solve puzzles involving the learned objects. This study is published in IEEE Transactions on Computational Intelligence and AI in Games with the title "Learning Behaviors of and Interactions Among Objects Through Spatio-Temporal Reasoning". Between the years 2010 and 2018, he worked as a research and teaching assistant at Istanbul Technical University Computer Engineering Department. Since 2019 he has been working as a research and teaching assistant at MEF University Computer Engineering Department.
