RÜYA YÜKSEL

Dr. Z. Rüya Yüksel joined MEF University in 2022. She completed her undergraduate degree in Marketing at the University of Hertfordshire in the UK, followed by two master's degrees in Marketing from the University of Westminster and Research Philosophy from the University of Bradford. She earned her PhD focusing on city branding and later completed a third master's degree in Urban Sociology at The Graduate Center, CUNY in New York, studying cities and the branding concepts. Dr. Yüksel began her career as a Group Brand Assistant at Henkel UK & Northern Ireland and then worked as a brand consultant at The Retail Institute, UK. She started her academic career as an Associate Lecturer at Leeds Beckett University and subsequently taught various courses in branding and marketing part-time at Istanbul Bilgi University and MEF University. In 2023, she joined MEF University as a full-time lecturer.
