DENİZ BARUTÇUOĞLU

Deniz Barutçuoğlu has been working at MEF SoFL as an English instructor since 2023. She graduated from Ege University with a BA in English Language and Literature and Dokuz Eylül University with an MA in Translation and Interpreting. She is a PhD candidate in the Foreign Language Education department at Boğaziçi University. She holds a CELTA from Cambridge English Language Assessment. Prior to MEF, she worked at Bahçeşehir University as an English instructor, and she was a Fulbright teaching assistant at the University of Massachusetts. Her professional interests are multilingualism, identity and linguistic ethnography. Her hobbies are travelling and dancing.
