SELEN BALKAYA SOYER

Selen Balkaya received a BSc in Mathematics from Boğaziçi University. She holds an MBA degree from Bayes Business School in London. She has been the founder of various applications in education and information technologies in the past. She completed her PhD, in the field of information systems at Boğaziçi University, Department of Management. Her PhD thesis was on the acceptance and adoption of learning management systems by primary and secondary school teachers in Turkey. She worked on the future and contemporary transformation of the education in k12 schools for 10 years as a founder and a board member in Balkaya Okulları and Uğur College. She continues her academic studies on information systems in management.
