FATMA BERİL ÖZCANLI

Dr. Fatma Beril Özcanlı graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Law in 2007. She obtained her LL.M degree in corporate law from Istanbul University in 2010 and her Ph.D. again from Istanbul University with the thesis titled “Unlawful Exercise of Control in Corporate Groups” in 2017. Afterwards she completed the European and International Business Law Advanced LL.M. Programme at Leiden University as a GBI scholar. Dr. Özcanlı conducted legal research at several Universities and Institutions abroad, including in Germany, the Netherlands and United States. Dr. Özcanlı is currently an Academic Member of the European Law Institute (ELI) and member of Istanbul Lisesi Alumni Association and Istanbul Bar Association. She is fluent in English and German.
