ERCAN AKYİĞİT

Prof. Ercan Akyiğit was born in Kadirli/ADANA in 1964. He had graduated from high school in 1982 and graduated from Istanbul University Law Faculty in 1986. He started to work as a research assistant at Istanbul Technical Univesity Faculty of Business, Labour and Social Security of Law Department. After getting bachelor degree, he started post graduate studies. His thesis advisor was Prof. Kemal Oğuzman at Labour and Social Security Departmant at Istanbul University Social Sciences Instutute; His master’s thesis is “The Absolute Nullity and Revocability of the Service Contract”. His doctoral thesis is “Loan Business Relationship in terms of Labour Law”. He studied at Koln University Faculty of Law Social Law Research Institute, under the suprevision of Prof. Peter HANAU. His associate professorship thesis “Employee’s Working in Another Job in Labour and Social Security Law” published in 1995. He appointed as an associate professor in 1997, and he appointed as a professor in 2002.
