BENAN İLHANLI

Benan İlhanlı graduated from Galatasaray High School (2001) and Galatasaray University Faculty of Law (2005) and completed his postgraduate studies at Universita per Stranieridi Perugia (2008). He is fluent in English, Italian and French. Benan İlhanlı has expertise in corporate law, contracts, data security, e-commerce, intellectual property law, IT law and mergers and acquisitions. He is a registered lawyer at the Istanbul Bar Association and a registered trademark attorney at the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office. Benan İlhanlı has been working at the intellectual property law and customs desk of the Istanbul office of the Italian Foreign Trade Agency since 2014 and has been teaching ‘Internet and Law’ course to undergraduate students as a part-time lecturer at MEF University Faculty of Law since 2015. In addition, since 2012, he has been teaching as an instructor or guest lecturer in certificate programmes at many universities, especially Boğaziçi University, Istanbul Technical University, Marmara University and Özyeğin University. He also participates as a speaker in conferences on e-commerce, IT law, startups and corporate law. Benan İlhanlı is also listed among the experts in the field of IT law in many international lists and is among the authors of the Copyright and E-Commerce editions of international legal guides.
