Building on Mars? Trained as an architect and specialized in micro-architecture, Dr. Özdemir is a designer, operating in urban environments. Besides his research in Moon-Mars-Orbital architecture (in frame of ESA studies) Dr. Özdemir has collaborated with artists from different backgrounds on international projects. The focus of his academical work is laid on technology and compact spaces in extreme environments, ranging from terrestrial vehicles to space habitats. Sketching and micro scripting is the preferred channel of representation in his work.
