Biography
Semen Son Turan is a Professor of Finance and currently serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences. She is also on the Board of Directors at MEF University’s Center for Research and Best Practice in Teaching and Learning (CELT). She has worked in various capacities across Canada, America, Germany, and Turkey at companies such as JP Morgan Chase & Co., Toronto Dominion Bank, Ford Otosan, REHAU, Ashmore Asset Management, and İş Asset Management for over two decades. Her scholarly contributions have been published in reputable international journals indexed by Web of Science, including the International Journal of Sustainability in Higher Education, Sustainability, Frontiers in Human Neuroscience, and Logistics. She actively participates as a reviewer, expert, and panel member in Agence Nationale de la Recherche (ANR), Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK), and European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) projects. Additionally, she holds a Capital Market Activities Level 3 License.
