Extended Reality Learning & Research Lab
MEF Extended Reality Learning & Research Lab aims to provide deeper and more engaging learning while increasing the power of research. The lab offers the opportunity to discover what virtual reality technology has to offer and experience the "metaverse". Our laboratory is open to both instructors who want to integrate the technology into their teaching and research and students.
The Lab is equipped with Oculus Quest 2 headsets. Users can access the Oculus Quest app store. You can find the educational apps available in our Lab’s library at the end of this page. If users want to use the Steam store, the appropriate computer connection cables are available for use at the Lab. However, to use the headsets via Steam, users have to bring their own high-performing computers.

| Within | Within is basically Cinematic VR. It provides some good videos to experience in this app. |
| VR Vienna | Go on an immersive journey of discovery through Vienna and experience Viennese moments in 360°. |
| Städel Time Machine | The “Time Machine” is a virtual reality app that provides fascinating insights into the architecture of the art museum and how it presented its collection in 1878. |
| Apollo 11 | Apollo 11 is the story of the greatest journey ever taken by humankind. Now you get to experience this historic event through the eyes of those who lived through it. |
| Madrid Noir | Madrid Noir is a 45-minute mystery adventure that unfolds across two acts in this VR film. It can be interesting for law students to interact with. |
